Pop Up Art Installations

Before Greg was a Design Engineer at Iontank, he and a close friend ran a small event services company, where they created small art installations for local events.

Mirage

Mirage was a pop-up installation commissioned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

Mirage was designed to attract the viewer from afar as they walked by the alley way. The sculpture was meant to invoke self reflection and to be a space for which people gathered around.

The Tubes

The tubes were an installation that took many forms, from spilling out of trash cans to being tied into the shape of a jellyfish. The tubes had a slow and gentle undulating animation meant to mesmerize the viewer.

Motion Tracking Displays

Another installation provided to multiple events was a motion tracking particle generator, which was often placed near dance floors. Behind the screen someone could operate a few built in effects with a MIDI controller.
